Tour the Arte Suave DreamRoot Training Center

DreamRoot has completed the renovation of what was a dilapidated warehouse in Pernambuco Brazil.

It is now a functional training center serving over 150 students and the wider community members in an under-resourced community plagued by poverty, violence, and drug trafficking. This center, located directly within the community makes life-changing programming and mentorship accessible.

It offers jiu jitsu classes, after school tutoring, subsidized office space for budding entrepreneurs, licensed therapy sessions, quarterly community-capacity building events, food for hungry students, and monthly outreaches offering food to the homeless and those in need within the community.

During phase II of the renovation, we have since completed the second floor, complete with classroom and office space, full kitchen for outreach activities, and a lounge area for students and volunteers to connect.

Through the presence of the leadership team and their programming this Arte Suave DreamRoot Training Centers is literally savings lives and transforming the surrounding neighborhoods. Youth are leaving gangs, drug trafficking is reduced, and small businesses are opening within the community. True socio-economic development is taking place.

The Arte Suave leadership team run classes in a total of 6 impoverished locations throughout the city (5 of these locations in borrowed spaces) the Arte Suave program trains over 500 students. Training centers like these are a safe place for youth to come and an invaluable resource to the surrounding neighborhoods.

We are raising funds to help renovate this space which will become DreamRoot's primary training center where we will be able to train and equip other local leaders, receive volunteers, and transform the lives of hundreds more underprivileged kids, youth, and adults.
